OPA requires Chainsaw Card Holders to refresh their knowledge of safe saw techniques every 3 years. This 1 day refresher seminar helps satisfy these requirements.

PPE & Legislative Requirements
Chainsaw Maintenance & Sharpening Techniques
Safe Chainsaw Starting & Handling Practices
Field Practices (Felling [Notching & Back Cutting], Bucking Techniques & Tools)

This course counts as 1 credit towards your Parks Practitioner Designation.
Please note that lunch will not be provided at this training. We encourage you to bring a bagged lunch and reusable water bottle with you for the day.
